FAQs

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

While we adore your children, this will be an adult-only event except for those traveling from out of town and close family.

Question

What is dressy casual?

Answer

In other words, it's nice, casual attire with a smidge of formality. Think of it as attire that is dressier than what you would wear to work, but not as formal as what you would wear to black-tie or formal events.

Question

What date should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by February 10th.

Question

What are the addresses of the wedding ceremony and reception venues?

Answer

The wedding ceremony and reception will both be located at Founder’s Hall at Charlestowne Landing. 1500 Old Towne Rd, Charleston, SC 29407

Question

Is there parking available near your wedding venue?

Answer

Parking is free and available at the entrance of the venue.

Question

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outdoors. We will then hold the reception inside Founder’s Hall for dinner and festivities.

Question

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

Answer

Yes, discounted hotel options are listed above. Feel free to find other lodging options, if desired.

Question

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel(s)?

Answer

No, please drive your own vehicle as there is plenty of parking or use Uber/Lyft.

Question

What is the weather like in the area?

Answer

March is one of the best times to visit Charleston, when temperatures are moderate. Daytime high temperatures tend to be around 63-70 F and cool to the low 50s.

Question

What is your wedding hashtag?

Answer

#britt2024
