We met while attending college together at Stephen F. Austin State University. We knew of each other but didn’t get to really interact with each other until Donald’s best friend, Shayvion , started playing match maker. Although we didn’t officially start dating for a couple more years, there was always a spark there, that was undeniably. He was my best friend and I was his. Eventually we admitted we wanted to be together and the rest is history. We started dating in June of 2020, dated long distance for a year and a half. In October 2021, he met my family for the first time— I told my dad that weekend that I knew he was the man I was going to marry, and my dad agreed and said Donald gave him a scene of peace the moment he met him. Fast forward to Christmas Eve 2023, with the help of my mom, dad , aunt, and sisters, Donald pulled off the best surprise, and proposed. We were lucky enough to fall in love with our best friend and look forward to spending forever together.
