Can I bring a date/guest?

Answer

Your invitations will be made out to “[Your Name] & Guest” if a plus one has been given to you. We politely ask that you do not bring any uninvited guests as we want to keep our special day as intimate as possible with family and close friends. Thank you for understanding!

Can I bring my children?

Answer

While we would encourage you to treat this as a fun date night, we know almost everyone is traveling to the wedding, and you may not be comfortable with leaving your kids overnight. We have included all children in your invite, so please feel free to do whatever works best for your family. We will have a small activity book and crayons available for all children, and special kids meals are available. Please let us know if you will need a high chair or a booster seat.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

We are having an “unplugged” ceremony. This just means that we are asking that all phones and devices are put away and on silent/turned off during the ceremony. We have hired a professional photographer to capture our special day, and we’d hate for their shots to have phones in them! After the ceremony is over, feel free to take as many photos as you’d like!

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both be indoors. If weather allows, cocktail hour will take place outside, on a paved patio. Everything is on one level, and there are no stairs to access the venue.

Is there a dress code?

Our wedding will be semi-formal/dressy casual. Tie is optional.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! There is a limit on the open bar however, so if we surpass that limit, the bar will turn into a cash bar. Please don’t drink and drive! Transportation will be provided to and from the hotel.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely! We know many of our loved ones have allergies or other dietary preferences. Don’t hesitate to reach out to us with any requests or concerns.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Yes, parking is available onsite.

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! A trolley will be providing transportation between the hotel and venue.

Will anyone be changing their name after the wedding?

No. For personal and professional reasons, we will both be keeping our own names.
