Eric and I met through my uncle Nick! He had been trying to set us up for years and it just seemed to never work out until summer of 2021! Eric took me on multiple dates and we discovered we were each other’s soul mates in no time! We then bought a house after only dating for a few months!! Crazy, we know, but it has worked out perfectly! Eric makes me laugh on a daily basis and is easily my BEST FRIEND! I can’t wait to spend forever with him and welcome our new baby boy -Ledger Neil- to this world in June 2024! I love you Eric! Here’s to being your bride forever!!

Dana and I met when we both worked at Kroger pharmacy in 2016! We became very close and have been soul sisters ever since! She has been through so much with me and stuck by my side every step of the way! We’ve been on so many trips, had so many laughs and made so many memories together! I’ve tried my best to train her on taking pictures of every moment, but I have yet to succeed! Lol I wouldn’t trade our friendship for anything in the world! I love her dearly and can't wait to spend my special day with her by my side!

Sydney and I started hanging out not very long ago, but when we did we became very close very fast! I feel like we just clicked super quick and we understand each other and can almost tell each other what each of us is thinking! Sydney and I became backseat riding sisters and it just got more and more fun from there! I love her like she's my sister and can't wait to have her by my side!

Lauren is my first cousin and has been my little baby doll since she was born! We have always been so close growing up, I always felt like she was my little sister! I can’t believe she is now in college! I feel like she should still be running around in bows and playing with toys! Time goes by way too fast! I love her so much and I’m so excited for her to be a special part of our big day!

Brittany and I became close pretty quick! We started riding side by sides with our men together and it just went from there! Then we all started planning trips together and love to travel! We talked on our last Sandals trip together about when we have children, we will then be going to Beaches resorts together instead! I love her and can’t wait for her to be by my side!

Brooke is my future sister-in-law and I couldn’t be more thankful! She is super sweet and enjoys kids like no other! She was the keeper of our baby’s gender for the gender reveal and she did fantastic! Everyone tried to get it out of her and she would not budge! She is going to be the best auntie ever! I’m so excited to have her by my side on our special day!

Ava is the sweetest and most energetic child ever!! I am her Godmother and she is so special to me! I have watched her grow and can’t wait to continue to watch her! I can’t say our friendship always was great. When we first met we didn’t get along to good. All it took was actually hanging out a few times to realize we are a lot like. Jordan has been one of my best friends for a while now. From staying out too late, to having the privilege of being his best man when he got married last year and now him expecting his little girl two weeks before my little boy is set to arrive. It seems like when life may be causing us to drift away some, the baby storks have different plans. I can’t wait for him to be there waiting on me to see my beautiful bride walk down the aisle.

Brian has been one of my best friends since 3rd grade. Sports and racing may have tested our friendship a few times. Neither one of us likes to lose to the other and it made for some tense moments. Not a lot of people stay best friends as long as we have. We only lived about a mile and half away, so it made it easy to hangout all the time. When I moved about an hour away we still kept in touch and have never lost that friendship. He has been a a great person to lean on throughout life. He is a true friend and I’m so glad he will be there for my big day.

Justin is one of the greatest best friends a guy could have. I could call him at anytime and know he would have my back. He is my longest married best friend and has set a great example on what a husband and father should be. I haven’t held a newborn baby since I got to hold his little girl just hours after she was born. It makes me so appreciative of our friendship when me or him calls the other to check in and I hear her in the background his little girl telling him tell “Uncle Gilbert” she said hi. The bachelor trip or the wedding would never be the same without him there.

Good ole JB, I believe in high school we were co-mayors of “The Watertower”. We developed a friendship that has been untouchable since then. The times we’ve had since senior week, multiple beach trips, and many trips with me visiting him in Morgantown are untouchable. I could go on for days with cherished stories, but some of the best times was sitting under the carport at Jordan’s talking to his family. His wonderful mom would always tell us we need to find us a good woman and settle down. I have no doubt she’s looking down smiling at us taking her advice. I am thrilled JB will be part of this celebration with me.

Where to start? When we first became friends I thought we were just riding buddies, The Kings of the Hills lol. Anyone who knows us knows we was hitting the hills no matter what. All those late night rides developed into me whipping Gene in 2k and evolved in him becoming one of my best friends. As life comes and throws things our way we don’t always get to hangout like we used to, but we are always staying in touch through text or FaceTime. I’m sure once Ledger Neil makes his appearance we will have play dates with Remi Gene. It won’t be long and they will be the “Princes of the Hill”. I can’t wait to see Gene up there by my side when I’m marrying my best friend.

Nick has been a lot to me. He started out as my substitute school teacher when I was in high school, to coworker in mines, to my boss in the mines, to friend, to matchmaker (he is the one who set me and Brooke up), to family (he is Brooke’s uncle). If he wouldn’t have tried for about a decade to get us together we wouldn’t be here today lol. I am definitely getting a great friend and uncle in Nick. I am going to change his name to Unc Nick now. I know he is glad his match making worked and to be there when his niece marry’s his set up.

Levi is not only part of the wedding party, but will become my brother-in-law. Levi has always treated me like family and has made me feel welcomed since the beginning. Him, more than anyone else, knows it can be a challenge dealing with Brooke for long periods of time. I am so happy he will be up there with me as I take her off his hands.

We are two former coal miners with one being a State Farm agent and the other opening up his own State Farm soon. (I guess Brandon is trying to be just like me lol.) This friendship was bound to be a special one and we definitely have so much in common. I am super thankful of where our friendship has been and where it’s going to go. I can’t wait to take all these “State Farm business trips” and have one of my best friends with me. I can’t wait to make him come home from Morgantown in February to stand on my side with me.

Pat’s definitely my newest best friend, but one that would run through a brick wall for me. Like a lot of my best friends, some of the best memories we’ve made so far took place in the hills. I have never seen anyone get hooked so quick at riding and it worked perfect. I always told Brooke we didn’t need a four seater can am, but now I’m thankful for it. That is where mine and Pat’s friendship turned into him becoming one of my best friends. No matter where we are or what we are doing it’s a good time. I’m not sure if we can have a bad time. I’m glad to have him up there with me on February 3rd.

Archer is my baby cousin! He brought so much joy and happiness to our family when he came into this world in 2016! He told us he thought the baby would be a boy and he was right! He already nick-named him “Huggy Torres!” I thought that was the cutest thing ever! We all love him and his creative personality so much!! We can’t wait to have him be part of our special day!
Ford Adkins

Ford is my precious nephew! He is the sweetest little boy ever! He will sit down and have a conversation with you like a little man! He called Eric, “Ache” when he first met him and it is the cutest thing ever! We just recently went to Disney with Ford on his Make a Wish trip and he absolutely enjoyed it! To see the smiles it brought to his face were absolutely priceless! We are super excited to have Ford to be a special part of our big day!! We love you so much Ford!

Shep is my other precious nephew! He is Ford’s baby brother! He is the sweetest little boy just like his big brother! Shep has his own cute little personality and knows what he wants and when he wants it, he’s so funny! We are so excited to have Shep be a part of our special day! We can’t wait for the Adkins brothers to come down the aisle together! We love Shep sooo much!
