Our paths intertwined within the walls of a bustling workplace. She, a radiant presence in HR, and I, immersed in the realm of Product Development, we found ourselves unexpectedly connected through a simple HR issue. Our initial interactions were purely professional, devoid of ulterior motives or grand first impressions. But as fate would have it, a call outside of work sparked a profound connection, leading to a friendship that blossomed effortlessly. We discovered an instant bond, delving into discussions about zodiac signs and temperaments, unraveling the mysteries of our souls. As our relationship evolved, facing the challenges of a chaotic city, we emerged stronger and more united. It was during a brief time apart during Christmas, I realized the depth of my love for her and knew that my life would be incomplete without her. I took the momentous step of acquiring a ring and, upon her return, popped the question that would forever bind us. After a private dinner where we talked about our journey and hopes for the unfolding year, Johnny Drille's "Romeo & Juliet" came on as we wrapped up the evening. She was then handed a bouquet of flowers and being a bit confused looked over to see me down on one knee. Her face was in shock and excitement all together.
