FAQs

The Wedding Website of Jessica Hole and Ross Barlow
Question

Why did you choose the Rivertown Revival for your wedding ceremony?

Answer

The musical talent procured for Rivertown Revival exceeds anything we could have arranged ourselves! Choosing a relaxed, inherently unpredictable setting, we hope to alleviate the common stressors and high expectations of a traditional wedding. We love the upbeat and artistic atmosphere, the eco-awareness, family-friendliness and the picturesque river setting.

Question

Do I need to purchase a ticket?

Answer

Yes, this is a ticketed event and your purchase supports the local non-profit Friends of the Petaluma River (FOPR), an organization dedicated to celebrating, conserving and educating the community about the Petaluma River and its watershed. Tickets $25 in advance/ $30 at the door $5/kid. *2 for 1 sale happening now Purchase your tickets at the gate or online www.rivertownrevival.com

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Feel free to express yourself in as formal or as festive attire as you like! We will be wearing traditional wedding garb, sun protection and dancing shoes that can get dusty.

Question

Will there be food?

Answer

There will be food and drinks available for purchase from several local vendors.

Question

Where do I park?

Answer

Park wherever you can or pay a $5-$15 fee to park in one of the several nearby attended parking lots.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Gates open at 5pm and ceremony time is 7pm. Arrive early enough to account for parking, a .25 mile walk through Steamer Landing Park, settling in, perhaps standing in line for food or a beverage and securing a seat on a hay bail. After the ceremony, you can find us enjoying local musicians and posing by the river for golden hour photos.

Question

Will this be a public ceremony?

Answer

With an intentionally limited guest list, we aim to create an intimate and private feel for our ceremony; however, the ceremony takes place within the public festival so it is possible to encounter Looky Loo’s and Cook-a-Doo’s, we hope you enjoy!

Question

Will there be guaranteed seating?

Answer

No, we recommend arriving early to enjoy yourself and snag a hay bail! Please be mindful that there may be other couples getting married before and after our ceremony, so we kindly ask you to consider their guest seating needs as well.

Question

What if I can’t attend?

Answer

While we hope that you can join us, if you are unable to attend the event, we will carry you with us in spirit. Thank you for being our nearest and dearest on our journey to finding love.
