Jeffery and I met in high school back in 2000. He used to walk me to all my classes to make sure I was safe and sound. I will always remember how he would carry my books, and he will always remember me looking up at him smiling. One day, while waiting in our normal spot, Jeffery didn't show up to walk me to my first class, and out of nowhere BOOM I never saw him again. Fast forward 20+ years later, and there he is in my messenger inbox. I thought, "WOW, OMG there he is. Where have you been?" Over the course of those 20+ years, I never forgot about him, and he never forgot about me. He would randomly enter my mind, and I wondered what happened to Jeffery Walker; how was he? Where has he been all this time? where did he go all this time? I had so many questions. From the day I replied to his message, we have been inseparable. With all the all-morning, all-day, all-night conversations and sweet, joking, loving texts, he and I knew we were destined to find one another again. It was just the right time in our lives, and we found each other at the perfect moment while we were both going through the perfect storms that single-handedly led us back together. Here we were one year and seven months in, and Jeffery decided that God had truly brought us back together for a reason, and he didn't want to live another day without me. So, on 5/15/23, Jeffery proposed to me at my family home on HIS birthday. What a gift that definitely kept on giving! Wow, what a true love story we share, and we are still in the process of writing.
