The Proposal
It should come as no surprise that date nights for us are few and far between. We often have busy schedules and a lack of babysitters. However, one thing we’ve learned is that if we want to make something work, it has to be strategically planned. We were finally able to get something special together. We ate a wonderful dinner with the restaurant all to ourselves. We seemed to flirt and talk more than we ate. Afterwards, headed to Crumbl for dessert. Both too stuffed from dinner, we took the cookies home to eat in bed while watching one of our shows. So, to set the scene: I’m in bed, finally in my comfy Adam Sandler clothes. He hands me my cookie. I open it and to my surprise, there was a beautiful princess cut ring sitting on top of my cookie. I gasped. I look over at Robert, with a mouthful of cookies himself, and says “Will you?” And I of course said “Really? Yes!” Followed by what seemed to be like a three minute hug. In true and awkward fashion, that’s how we got engaged!

What is the dress code?
Answer
We ask that you do not wear purple and gold, unless you are direct family or told to do so, please. Business casual. Relaxed cocktail attire. NO JEANS! Please note that the venue is outside, so make sure to dress accordingly. Ultimately, come as you are. We’re thankful for your company, love, and support on our special day.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please arrive no earlier than 4:15 PM. Ceremony will begin at 4:30 PM.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?
Answer
Dinner will be catered by Kriner Chicken BBQ. They will be serving roasted pig, roasted chicken, with a variety of sides. Vegetarians will have the option of ratatouille or veggie lasagna. We hope that these options are able to accommodate your dietary restrictions. The cake and cookies for dessert by Baked by Becka are made with lactose free milk.
