Maid of Honor
Desiree and I met in high school through our school's Air Force JROTC program my sophomore year. We bonded over the chaos that was North Stafford's JROTC program (Marisa felt the struggle here as well). Even though we took very different paths in life, we still almost talk every day (even more now that she's helping me plan this wedding!). Desiree is now a women's health nurse practitioner in Virginia, where she lives with her husband, Brian.
Bridesmaid
Marisa and I met in first grade, and have been friends ever since! Our best-friendship truly solidified in high school, where we worked closely together as leadership in our schools JROTC program. Marisa keeps busy as an X-ray technician and mother to Jack. She now lives in Oklahoma with her son and husband Trey.
Bridesmaid
Rachel and I went to West Point together but didn't meet until we were both stationed at Fort Bliss. Rachel watched Brett and I first meet, fall in love, and saw our relationship turn into what it is today. Since I moved back to Georgia the beginning of January 2023, she's been my go-to girl for everything. If I'm not in Savannah, I'm in Atlanta visiting this girl. Rachel is still in the Army, serving in a recruiting command in Marietta.
Bridesmaid
Gabby and I were in the same company at West Point and bonded over the struggles that a typical Cadet would go through. From football games, to SAMIs, to TEEs, we survived and thrived together (along with fellow bridesmaid Amelia). We were THE trio in school, and some of my absolute best memories in my life include these ladies. Gabby is still in the Army serving as an Apache pilot in El Paso Texas, with her husband Will.
Bridesmaid
Amelia was another Cadet in our company that turned into a life-long friendship. I was lucky enough to have her join me in El Paso as my very first post-school roommate for a while before she deployed. Amelia since then has departed the Army and now lives in West Palm Beach
Bridesmaid
Megan was my ride-or-die in high school--she's probably also the smartest person I know. I've never met someone who can balance a social & love life, being a yoga instructor, and being a medical resident so flawlessly. She now lives in Arizona, where she spends her days AND nights serving as a neurology medical resident.
Best Man
Kory has been my best friend ever since kindergarten. We grew up hanging out at each others houses, and we both joined the army, him having served in 3/75. Since those days he has lived in Illinois where he met his wife Brittany, who I had the honor of being his best man at their wedding.
Groomsman
Eddie is one of my amazing friends from our time in 3rd Platoon, he's has had a storied career throughout the army. Going from a Ranger in 1/75 to a Ranger Instructor in Daholonega, GA. He sure does love to walk... He is a very charismatic and lively man who loves his massive family. His home has always been open to me and has made me feel like family when I can't travel to see mine.
Groomsman
Jesus or Jesse is another of my great friends from our time together in 1/75. We served together for over 7 years and through that time he became one of my core friends. He has a quick wit and is always pushing buttons to see what makes you tick. Through countless deployments and training cycles he always made it a more fun experience. He is currently serving in El Paso, TX with his wife Kathy and his children.
