We met at Alexis’s 21st birthday party at a club in Italy, where we were both stationed with the military. At first we were both hesitant to enjoy the others company but soon became inseparable. We have had many adventures and laughs throughout Europe and even made a visit to our families in the United States for the holidays! Alexis’s favorite trip was our first to Nice, France. We hiked a mile up an incredibly steep hill with our backpacks on to get to our Air BnB, Alexis found a small lizard on the way and just had to catch it, Jake refused to let her touch him afterwards. When we got there the land lady said she hoped we would enjoy the shower soon! Jake’s favorite trip was Amsterdam, which is where he proposed. We enjoyed walking through the zoo, going to a microbiology museum and of course, seeing the Tulip Festive. We even got to see some red lights 😉 Alexis couldn’t believe it and Jake caught his mother trying to take pictures of the ladies!

No. We, as a couple, have decided to have a child-free wedding. Children (0-12) cannot attend, but adolescents (13 and up) can. We want our guests to let loose, have fun, and celebrate with us as we enter this new chapter. Your children are welcome at all other events.
