We met at TAMU-CC while at the library studying for finals for the Spring 2017 semester. We hit it off immediately and before we knew it couldn't live without each other. The past 6 years have been the best of our life and we're so excited for the many to come!

After dating for just shy of 2 years we went on a date for Valentine's day. Despite the holiday I had no idea that Alex was going to propose! I also had no idea that I was going to ruin the proposal four times! Because of various circumstances in various locations he got interrupted time and time again. By the time we got back to our apartment it was almost midnight. He was strangely insistent that we needed to go look at the bell tower on campus despite the late hour. Soon enough he was on one knee and I said yes!!! We knew the wedding wouldn't be any time soon because we needed to get through college first (COVID was another surprise hurdle as well) but we both couldn't stand calling each other boyfriend and girlfriend. We were already more than that, committed, with our roots entwined. Here we are 4 and a half years later and we couldn't be more excited to finally call each other what our hearts have for years - husband and wife!
