We met at Sean and April Twitty’s wedding. I was coordinating the wedding and Jordan just happened to be there, having just recently moved from Oklahoma. We definitely noticed one another, but it was a couple family members who acted on it. My MawMaw pulled me aside pointing out the “cute man” at the reception. My cousin, Amy, took it upon herself to introduce us and asked each of us if we were single in front of each other before walking away and leaving us there alone. So thankful she did! We spent the rest of the night talking and dancing. Jordan asked me out on a date for the next night, and the rest is history! We have been together every step of the way since!

On my 28th birthday, Jordan had planned a romantic dinner at Dauphin's in Downtown Mobile - just a block from our first date. We had already planned to hang out downtown after and walk around. I hadn't thought anything of it. We were walking through the park looking at the monuments and next thing I know he is on one knee. I was completely speechless and it took my breath away! After he put the ring on my finger, he then pointed out how our family was hiding in a nearby restaurant! It was the perfect ending to the best birthday a girl could ask for and a day I will never forget! He did a pretty good job on the ring too! :)
