We want to make sure you are comfortable and having fun this weekend! We do ask for Resort Casual for our Welcome Party and Elegant Cocktail for our Wedding Day. Please note, some events are outside, so please have layers ready and stiletto heels are not recommended.

Should I rent a car?

Answer

If you are staying on property at Palmetto Bluff and aren't planning to leave the resort & club, a rental car isn't necessary. Bicycles are complimentary and golf carts can be rented. Transportation on property is included for all wedding events. We do suggest arranging roundtrip car transport through the Montage concierge, as Uber/Lyft can be difficult to find on departure from the hotel. If you are not arriving at Savannah airport and/or you'd like to do some exploring of the local area (including staying off property), a car rental is a great idea.

How will we get around on property?

Answer

Most places are available by walking, a golf cart shuttle or bikes. Bikes are provided complimentary as part of the resort fee. Guests staying in homes or cottages will have bikes delivered to their accommodations prior to arrival. Guests staying in the inn or guesthouses can visit the recreation barn (next to the River House) or the recreation attendant behind the inn to pick up bikes. You are able to reserve golf carts if you wish, please contact the Experience Planning team at (833)809-2083 or mpb.experienceplanner@montage.com

Can I stay off property?

Answer

If rooms at the Montage do not meet your needs, you can stay off property within the town of Bluffton. Uber/Lyft can take you to the venue, but please note it can be challenging to get an Uber/Lyft back at the end of the evening. Please note that once you enter the Palmetto Bluff Gate, it's approximately a 10-15 minute drive to all venues.

Buzz Coffee: Buzz is located on the first floor of the River House. Fore & Aft: Located alongside the lagoon waterway and the Inn pool, F&A offers a selection of Mexican inspired food offerings as well as relaxing views. Canteen: Located in Moreland Village, Canteen is a perfect stop to pick up a cup of coffee or breakfast sandwich in the morning, and a homemade panini, wrap, salad or snack in the afternoon. Credit Card required. Octagon Restaurant: Rich in Southern hospitality, Octagon welcomes guests into a warm residential setting. Open Daily for Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner. Dinner Reservations are recommended. River House Restaurant: Located in Wilson Village, the River House is a culinary celebration of the relationship and our professed love for the land and waters of the low-country. Dinner Reservations are recommended. **River House has a business casual dress code for guests. Jackets are recommended, while tank tops, flip-flops, and shorts are not permitted** Hush Speakeasy: Located at the bottom floor of the River House, Hush is a cozy setting for happy hour, a post-dinner cocktail, or a late night drink.
