Doug and Aileen met roughly three years ago when Aileen was on a journey of health and fitness. Doug was working as a fitness trainer at the studio she visited, and the two had connected almost instantly! One day, the duo was discussing hobbies and decided to spend the day at Washington D.C. to explore the museums. As time went on, the unsuspecting pair's relationship grew into something beyond what they had expected. With lot's of laughs, and some times, even tears. To say Aileen and Doug had found themselves to be made for eachother would be an understatement. The two would find they couldn't stand to be without one another. During one night on the town, Doug decided to make a life altering choice. Aileen wasn't sure what to expect, but was eager to know what he had in mind. Although uncertain, Doug didn't want to keep Aileen waiting, as she would be getting frustrated; under the impression he may be trying to hide something from her. Doug knew it was now or never. He knelt down and held out a ring to offer Aileen. Even if she was rather taken back. With a sweet smile, and a glow in her eyes, Aileen joyfully said ''Yes!''
