The Vines 394 Walter Rawl Rd Lexington, SC 29072 The party will mainly be inside the temperature controlled solarium, but guests are welcome to mingle outside on the patio. In other words, don't worry about the August heat or rain stopping the festivities!

This is a drop in party! Feel free to come anytime between 4 and 8 pm.

There will be lots of food, drinks, a cake, and outdoor games with a casual, walk-around-and-chat atmosphere. We will also have a photographer who will be snapping photos.

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code is summer smart casual. For men, think lightweight dress shirts or polo shirts paired with dress shorts or chinos. Ladies, opt for breezy blouses, tailored shorts, cropped pants, skirts, or sundresses. To give you an idea, Abigail will be wearing a white sundress and Geoffrey will be wearing a white button down and chinos.

Not only will we have the classic pulled pork and sauces, but there will be plenty of sides and fried chicken on deck too. So, whether you're skipping the pork or skipping meat altogether, there's something tasty for everyone! (And, don't forget the cake!)

Love Story

Abigail and Geoffrey met at Clemson University in September 2020. Geoffrey had just started his Master of Architecture degree, and Abigail was in her last semester of undergrad. Their first moment together was like a jolt of electricity, bonding over their shared love of travel, history, photography, and shared views on life's meaning. It was very much a "when you know, you know" feeling. If you ask Abigail, her favorite things about Geoffrey include his smile, sense of humor, inquisitive spirit, and attentiveness. He always knows how to make her laugh. If you ask Geoffrey, his favorite things about Abigail include her warm spirit, optimism, intelligence, and, of course, her hair. She always knows how to recenter him into the moment. Abigail and Geoffrey are so excited about their future together. This is only the beginning of their story!
