FAQs

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely! Please reach out to us directly so we can ensure the catering staff is made aware. A tasty alternative will be offered.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

To allow all guests to relax and enjoy themselves, we have chosen to make our special day adults-only. We encourage you to take the opportunity to make it a date night!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate this day with our nearest and dearest, and are hoping to keep the guest list limited. Thank you for not bringing a guest.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Formal Attire. For our summer wedding, our ceremony will be held outdoors on a grassy area overlooking a lake. Our reception will be held in an air-conditioned ballroom. We suggest that men wear a suit in any color and women wear an evening gown, midi or knee-length cocktail dress, formal separates, or a dressy jumpsuit. Don't forget your dancing shoes!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Of course! There is a large parking lot in front of the main lodge, the ceremony site is a short walk from there

Question

Is it a cash bar?

Answer

The bar setup for our Welcome Bonfire and for Cocktail Hour will be a cash bar only. Due to wifi/cell service constraints the venue is unable to take payment by card at the Lakeside Lawn. They have offered to do an old-fashioned tab for guests where they will collect your credit card and charge the card at the reception space later in the day. We would recommend having cash on hand to save time. There is an ATM on the property if needed. The bars at the reception space will be fully set up to take payment by cash, card, charge-to-room for hotel guests, and the ability to start a tab.
