Talking to Crows

Female-majority Film Collective

We are a community-focused team of filmmakers, photographers, and multimedia artists driven to capture the human experience through our creative lens. We’re a women-led group tackling the entire spectrum of visual media with an "art-first" approach. From commercials, to feature films, to wedding videography, we capture it all. Every moment has a story; we want to help you tell it.

We strive for that balance between orchestrating the perfect shot, and just being present for the perfect shot. While we're all directing the right look, kiss, or swoosh of the dress, we're most interested in being invisible documentarians so that our couple can stay present. We want to document their story, as they are, and develop a relationship so that we can intuit when they need direction, and when we need to step back and just roll camera. We are an all-women team and love creating environments that are calm, warm, and stress-free. Let's make your movie.

    Talking to Crows swopped in and saved the day. I had completely planned my wedding and then Covid hit and I had a lot of replanning to do. Due to cost I was planning to forego hiring a videographer. We had so many family members unable to attend our wedding that I changed my mind and started looking for a videographer to livestream and record our wedding. Talking to Crows was absolutely perfect to work with! They showed up on time and were creative but worked within our vision. After we received our copies of the recorded ceremony I asked for two more copies and modifications to be made to one of the copies. They were incredibly gracious and were able to get me what I needed in a timely manor. If you have the chance to work with these amazing women you should do it. I can't thank them enough for all they did for me.

    Working with the girls of TTC always feels like more fun than work. Their ease of making you feel comfortable really comes thru in the final product. I love their keen sense of the world and ability to bring the most to a situation. From beginning of conception to end of product they are always professional.

    Stacey and Cassidy are super professional and well equipped, but what makes them really special is how fun and engaged they are, and how seamlessly they work as a team to zero in on the style and vibe of the event they’re shooting. They will put you at ease in the moment and you’ll feel like a willing collaborator on a fun movie set. Then you’ll be blown away by the memories they preserved for you in their images. You won’t get run-of-the-mill anything from Talking To Crows. I highly recommend working with them as part of your vendor team.
