About Florida Wedding Videography

Owner

My name is JP Eason and I am the owner of Florida Wedding Videography. I have my Master’s degree in Film and Video from American University in Washington, DC and over 15 years of experience in the industry. I grew up in Southwest Florida on the gulf coast, and Florida is what I know and love! When you hire my company, you are hiring me. From the consultation, to the filming, and all the way to the editing and distribution. Your satisfaction with the final product is not just a reflection on my company but directly on me as an individual and a filmmaker. It would be an honor to document your special day!

Many other companies book with couples and then contract novice videographers to go out and film the actual wedding. With our company, you know who your videographer will be and you can connect with me directly over the phone, zoom, or meet up with me in person. Couples comment on my relaxed vibe and I think that my many years of experience and formal training allow me to show up with the preparation and ease needed to still be able to be personable and fun while in my professional role. I love what I do and welcome the chance to connect with you about documenting your special day.

    I had the pleasure of working alongside JP and Kelsey of Florida Wedding Videography for a wedding on Anna Maria Island this year. As a photographer it is so important to be able to communicate with videographers on wedding days so we can work together to get the best coverage for our clients. JP had such a calming presence and amazing focus during the entire day and Kelsey was helpful with pre-planning and communication leading up to the wedding. The wedding day could not have gone more smoothly, and the video was breathtaking! Truth be told the bride and groom decided last minute to add on videography since they had downsized their guest list and wanted to be able to share their day through video with guests who would no longer be able to attend. I recommended Florida Wedding Videography to the bride and within a day she had written me back thanking me for making the recommendation and praising JP and Kelsey for the ease of their booking process and willingness to jump in last minute. From that moment on myself and the other vendors, and most importantly the bride and groom, enjoyed working with JP and Kelsey and absolutely loved the way they captured the wedding day.
