    This will be a long review but if it means one person saves their sanity and money, it's worth something to post. I got engaged in August of 2023 and started looking for photographers available to shoot our wedding in May (May 5th). Don offered a range of different packages, we chose the ultimate wedding package. I sent the itinerary for the entire wedding day, however Don was half an hour late to the venue. When my husband arrived at the venue, he was greeted by the videographer LD who didn't even know my husband was the groom. Since we were so focused on the day we didn't notice any other issues until we saw our photos. Attached are some of the photos from our package. There were more photos of the food than of our loved ones, more photos of my brother-in-law and his family than of me and my husband, no photos of my husband and his parents, and only two photos of my husband solo. The ONLY landscape photo of me and my husband after the ceremony was with our niece directly in front of us. That is the only photo in that position that shows my entire dress and you would think a wedding photographer would have the common sense to capture that moment without anyone in front of us… Multiple photos looked unedited or poorly edited, which was a letdown considering how well the engagement shoot was edited. When I brought this to Don’s attention he claimed the photos were edited and that he would re-edit them, which he never did. I spent over seven hours editing my wedding photos to look how we wanted, while some of them were simply unprofessional and should not have been sent. Multiple family members sent pictures of our wedding that looked better than what we paid for. The only professional photos of our kiss during the ceremony were taken from behind my husband and to the side. My brother-in-law captured a centered picture of our kiss on his phone. Our wedding video is very disappointing. The music does not align with the aesthetic we asked for and we would have never chosen the genre to be played in our wedding film. At the start of the video, a framed picture of me and my dad is sitting on a table, and right behind it is a pack of cigarettes… Again, you would think a professional photographer would have the common sense to move them out of frame since it's a wedding film. The editing was decent, yet multiple people were interviewed for part of the film and we never saw the footage. There were a few clips with the same people being interviewed but we have no footage of the interviews with other guests who were part of the film. Multiple moments of the day were never featured or cut to a few seconds, most of the reception was not filmed. It took over a month to receive our wedding film( June 11th) and an additional month and a half to receive our short reels (July 22nd) after trying to contact Don weeks prior. He responded to my husband's message saying he does not offer the two short reels in the package anymore, but would “honor” ours since it was included when we bought it. I received two short reels (27 seconds & 34 seconds) that were thrown together without much thought. The lack of communication throughout the entire process was the most frustrating, Don avoided answering my question about when we would receive the two short reels when we were messaging via iMessage. As soon as I mentioned seeking legal advisement we had our short reels. We are both very disappointed by how much we spent on such unprofessionalism and inexperience.
