About this venue

Host your next gathering in style at our stunning event space. Conveniently located off Interstate 10 between Houston and Austin. This property was previously owned by the late Charlie Thomas former owner of the Houston Rockets and was frequented by celebrities and dignitaries, but now it's available for your dream wedding. The dance hall is fashioned after the famous Gruene Hall. Are dance hall is complete with a bar and stage. Attached is a silo with a grill and we are ready to bread your dream menu. We have a Bridal suite where you and your bridesmaids can get ready for your big day also a Grooms Casino suite for the guys. Say "I do" under our Heritage oak tree! What better way to say your "I do" then under our 350 year old oak tree that is 120 feet wide. At the heart of the tree is a stage for the couple to say there "I do". We have so many more amenities to offer from reception kitchen, church, movie theater, school house. Rustic barn and lodging come soon too.

Twin Oaks Dance Hall

Twin Oaks dance hall. The dance hall is fashioned after the famous Gruene Hall.

This space features a nearly 3600 ft.² indoor room and outdoor patio with wine barrel tables and chairs for an outdoor experience too along with a campfire. Each window opens to see the outdoors. Our hall is complete with a bar and stage. Attached is a silo with a grill and we are ready to prepare your dream menu.

What better way to say your “I do” then under our 350 year-old oak tree that is 120 feet wide. Perfect for a day or night wedding at the heart of the tree is a stage for the couple to say there “I do”. This venue can accommodate more than 300 guest. This beautiful space will add an extra touch of magic to your special day. The bridal suite looks out to the oak tree. The bride can walk out of a bridal suite right to get married.

    This is a beautiful ranch. They are adding a RV Resort with a Waterpark onto the property. For now, the ranch has so much for people to see historical wise and to have a wedding. There is a nice bridal suite to get ready in. Also a very nice walkway to the hitching post. The walkway goes around the property circling all of the buildings. You must see the replica of Gruene hall from Gruene Texas now open for gatherings or reunions. You can prepare food there or have it catered in for your event. Then see the little replica of thr Catholic Church from Warrenton Texas , also old Victorian home, small theater, 5 acre fishing lake. Mini camels and Donkeys and so much more. What The Gustafson's are adding to this ranch even makes it that much more to see. The trip to Columbus Texas is worth the drive

    My husband of 53 years and I have toured this venue and highly recommend it to any couple who wants a Country - Western theme wedding, this is definitely the place for you. Get online and check it out, it is absolutely beautiful!

    I attended a wedding at Twin Oaks in October 2024. It is a beautiful place. The oak trees are amazing and the setting for the ceremony is very nice. The guests were seated on nice benches which face a big, beautiful oak tree. (The tree was also decorated.) The dining hall was spacious and very nice. There is a stage which worked well for speeches, etc. And of course a bar. The decor is a western theme -- perfect for the area. Many guests took advantage of the outdoor seating. It was a beautiful night. Best of all, the owners are so very accommodating. You will love this venue for your wedding! P.S. This venue will work well for reunions and other events. ENJOY!

    The people at Twin Oaks handled everything with ease! They were available and eager to help get our wedding started. The Twin Oaks Resort had a spectacular space for our outdoor wedding and inside reception at the Dance Hall which was beyond what I can imagine for my wedding! The outdoor space was beautifully decorated and built - I loved the handmade chandelier! Everyone was happy and enjoyed the venue. I would definitely recommend anyone who wants a less stressful experience to call Twin Oaks Resort. They are willing to work with your budget to get you your dream wedding!
