A historic ballroom overlooking our golf course!

Located at the Vinoy Golf Club just 1.5 miles from the resort on beautiful Snell Isle. Built in 1929, this ballroom overlooks a pool, golf club, and golf course. Chivari chairs are included with this venue along with custom fire pits and couches where your guests will have access to the outdoor terrace all night long.

The Esplanade makes a great reception venue for dinner and dancing under the stars.

Host your first meal as a married couple overlooking Tampa Bay! Tenting the Esplanade is allowed and provided by an outside vendor, please contact your Sales Manager for a vendor list. Additional lighting is required for evening events on the Esplanade. All events must end at 10pm. Buffet and dine around stations are offered on the Esplanade.

    I've been planning events at The Vinoy for the better part of a decade, and I am always impressed by the consistent quality they deliver. Their team is outstanding, their food is delicious, and their commitment to and passion for high end hospitality shows at every touchpoint.     I am a Tampa Bay Event Planner that has had the pleasure of working at the Vinoy Resort with over a decade of celebrations held here! I thoroughly enjoy working at this property as they have always had a wide selection of locations to hold each event. We appreciate The Vinoy’s dedication to always offering a luxury experience for anyone hosting or attending an event at their property. They have recently brought their hotel to the next level with some incredible renovations that have exceeded my expectations in every capacity. The renovations have made this already sought after location, much more appealing. When reviewing venue options for an event, our client’s vision is always kept in mind when looking at the spaces. One of our favorite updates to the Vinoy was their ballroom renovations that now offer a cleaner look with more neutral colors becoming the base of the design. This created an atmosphere where any decor could be selected creating a cohesive look within the space, making it easier for us as well as our clients to visualize their dream day here. We believe that updates such as these are important as they keep up with the times while also providing a sustainable development for the future, with each detail they selected throughout the renovation. We look forward to many more events being held here at the beautiful Vinoy Resort, and we hope you get to experience the beauty of this property as well!
