With stunning sunsets, a 180º view of the river, and a constant island breeze you can be assured to have your own little piece of the Lowcountry. ‍ The Island House is a private events venue on the Stono River, with a gorgeous view of our small marina. We own the whole island, so you can expect unsurpassed security and privacy for your big day. The house is included for our brides to get ready for a beautiful waterfront wedding ceremony. Also, The Island House has hosted numerous birthday parties, fundraisers, oyster roasts, Rehearsal Dinners, family reunions, and more. We would love to share this property with you for your special event.

The Island House

There are not many places in Charleston where you can get authentic waterfront pictures of your big day surrounded by the nature of the Lowcountry.

Inside, it is a split level house built in the 60's. There is plenty of room for brides, bridesmaids, grooms, groomsmen, and relatives to get ready in! Outside, we have a beautiful view of the river, a 40' x 80' tent included, and plenty more!
