The Watson Building

An elegant 1920's structure featuring the original architectural highlights accentuated by modern amenities. The high pressed tin ceilings, original wood floors, wooden molding, iron railings and plaster medallions serve as a light and airy, yet versatile backdrop to your personalized decor and perfectly appointed tabletop. The building is highly functional, separate bar area, spacious bridal suite, luxurious bathrooms, and a large, modern catering kitchen. Ample off-street parking.

    The staff at The Historic Watson Building was always available, extremely helpful, and quick on delivery to make our wedding day run beautifully and beyond expectations! Their communication style was detailed, helpful, fast, kind, and knowledgeable about the wedding industry. There is nothing like this venue in Lubbock anywhere - I loved that it did not need a lot of extra decorating due to the natural beautiful aesthetics of the building itself, with great lighting for photography, tall ceilings and an open feeling, and the natural hardwood flooring made for an exceptional dance floor. We couldn't have asked for a better venue to celebrate our special day.

    The Historic Watson Building is a beautiful wedding venue that exceeded our expectations. The owners were present and responsive to all of our questions and concerns, which made planning our special day a breeze. The venue itself is stunning, with an elegant and timeless aesthetic that was perfect for our wedding. The price was also very reasonable given the quality of the space.     I have so many great memories of the Watson Building. Law school parties and many weddings! This is a beautiful, historic building and photos there are timeless! If you have an opportunity to host your event there, do it! You will be so glad you did.
