The Chalet is located on the foothills of Hatcher Pass, with spectacular views of the Chugach Range, Knik Glacier, and the Mat-Su Valley. It features a 2300 square foot banquet hall with 25-foot-high cathedral ceiling, large windows, and a welcoming layout for up to 150 guests indoors, and two large outdoor spaces for larger events.

The facility is a simple gable design featuring large windows, two 3-stall bathrooms, a full service warming kitchen, welcoming foyer, private ready room, and a versatile 45'x51' banquet hall perfect for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, reunion, school proms or rec days, memorial services and more. The facility has close parking, and is ada accessible. It also offers several easy-load access points for rentals, catering and personal items.
