Overpriced and unprofessional

Very disappointed in our experience with Bauerhaus! We were hesitant to go with this venue due to the price but had heard nothing but good things from family and friends who worked with them previously. After our experience, it was not worth it at all! Our included "planner", Julia Dayton, did nothing but make our lives more difficult while wedding planning. She was very unresponsive during the planning process and often wouldn't respond without multiple emails. I was very disappointed on the day of the wedding when she got several details wrong that we had previously discussed. I was also shocked to hear from my wedding guests that Julia was speaking poorly of us to them. It was embarrassing to have our own guests tell us our wedding planner made several negative comments to them. We were also rather disappointed with the cakes and cleanup. Unfortunately, none of the cakes were close to the reference pictures. All of our décor lights were returned tangled in one box even though we provided the separate boxes to put them back in. Overall our experience was not worth what we paid! Would not recommend.
