    We give five stars for the beauty of this winery, but on our wedding day there was a lack of coordination, which brings down our rating. We had a small 45 person wedding on a weekday and we were promised a few things that either weren’t followed through or forgotten about since the day of coordinator was MIA. We were told there were to be plenty of tray passed appetizers, and there were not, even for such a small guest count like ours. We were told that cold weather would not be an issue since they had “unlimited heat lamps”, which was not true. And just overall little details like not placing out small plates for our dessert table for people to scoop their dessert, and placing the bride/groom cutting cake on the shared dessert table where our guests ended up cutting it before we did. There was no coordination between our coordinator and outside vendors even though contact info was provided for them all. The DJ didn’t really have any idea what was going on in terms of timeline. To be fair, we first booked the venue given that one specific lady would be handling the coordination, but she ended up quitting a few months later and our file got passed around to a few other people, so we had no idea who would be there the wedding day. We had details meetings with one gal and the wedding day she’s not even there? It was very unorganized and little details that were forgotten about shouldn’t have fallen into the hands of the bartenders and wait staff that worked our wedding, who were great by the way. We didn’t see any coordination AT ALL the actual wedding day. For the lawn games we were promised and extra heat lamps, we had to go to the main bartender. Hopefully this rating helps with your decision to book with this winery. If you do, please make sure they have someone who is actually hired and has the wedding coordinator position to assist you, or else your wedding will be handed off to anyone at the winery.

    Lorimar did such a great job making our special day beautiful and bearing the brunt of the organization, set up and clean up. The venue was gorgeous and the bridal party was allowed ample time to get ready before the wedding. The food was also incredible! My husband and I had multiple guests complement the kitchen at Lorimar. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone else looking to tie the knot.
