With a panoramic view of Galveston Bay, the Houston Yacht Club dining room has a reputation for fine cuisine served in an elegant but relaxed atmosphere. It is the perfect place to bring family,friends or business associates for lunch or dinner. From seafood and steaks to salads and pasta, our chef offers a menu for every appetite. We also offer a selection of cocktails and fine wine. With its historic clubhouse and breathtaking view, the Houston Yacht Club offers an elegant setting for your special event, such as weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, business meetings and more. Easily reached from downtown Houston, the club features four private rooms appropriate for small or large meetings or parties. Outdoor facilities are also available. Our Event Director will arrange all the details for you.

Step into the historic Houston Yacht Club and you’ll see why it’s considered “the friendliest yacht club on the Texas Gulf Coast.” A beautiful clubhouse sits on the Galveston Bay, inviting you and your guests into a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere in the form of a three-story landmark with stucco walls and Spanish Mediterranean architecture. With 27,000 square feet of space, it can easily accommodate weddings of all sizes and styles, from casual and intimate gatherings to formal and grand soirees. A magnificent ballroom awaits with a stage and state-of-the-art sound and lighting system for fancy affairs, while the Porthole on the ground floor serves as the perfect setting for a more casual party with its modern bar and indoor and outdoor seating. With breathtaking views all around and convenient close proximity to downtown Houston, Houston Yacht Club sets the perfect waterfront backdrop for your special day!

The bridal party and their guests will enjoy a gentle sea breeze off Galveston Bay as nuptials are exchanged. The expansive lawn can accommodate a tent for receptions large or small. Our newly renovated pool area is the perfect place to have hors d’oeuvres before heading into the tent for the main course. As for inside options, our historic Clubhouse, affectionately dubbed the “Pink Palace,” has a spacious Ballroom with a dance floor and stage with room enough for a band or DJ. The Clubhouse has the ability to host small to large weddings with both the Ballroom and adjacent dining room.
