About this venue

Located just outside the west entrance of Glacier National Park, Great Northern Resort is ideally situated for Montana destination weddings. Whether your guests are traveling clear across the country or just down the road, we want them to feel at home at Great Northern Resort. Our classic Glacier Park chalet lodging is the perfect place to house your wedding party and guests. We also offer an exciting menu of activities, whitewater rafting, scenic floats and more, to give your guests the full Montana experience.

The ceremony lawn

A ceremony with a view

A wooded path takes your guests up to a grassy clearing surrounded by pines and wild foliage, with spectacular panoramic views of the mountains of Glacier National Park. A lovely wall-tent, stylishly appointed with chairs and a dresser, provides a shady spot for the bridal party to gather, take a deep breath (and a sip of champagne!), and wait for the ceremony to begin. The ceremony lawn is tiered so that, no matter the size of your group, everyone will have a fantastic view.

A stylish tented reception

From the ceremony, a short charming path will take your guests down to the reception, which is held under a classic white tent in an airy meadow. The simple surroundings offer infinite possibilities for decor, so you’ll be able to make the space feel like your own. The 40x75 foot frame tent, which comes fully installed with the venue rental, can be arranged in countless ways to best accommodate your guest count. Smaller groups find it cozy and intimate, while groups of 200 find it perfectly comfortable

Description

Our complete venue rental will include our ceremony meadow with views of the peaks of Glacier National Park, our reception meadow with a 40×75 foot white frame tent, access to water, electricity, and restrooms. We believe that your wedding should be exactly as you envision it, and that you should be just as relaxed and have just as much fun as all of your guests!
