Best venue ever!!!!
We had the most amazing experience with Galway Downs and wish we could get married there over and over again! The venue is absolutely beautiful. The staff is so kind. Aubree booked our day for us and made sure everything leading up to the day was perfect. She made us feel so comfortable and addressed every concern we ever had. Mikayla was our day-of coordinator and went over our rehearsal with us as well. She set up our decor perfectly and checked on us throughout the day in our bridal and groom’s suites. We cannot thank her enough for making sure every detail was absolutely perfect. We couldn’t imagine a more amazing day. The DJ, the food, the cake, the flowers, the atmosphere - everything is exactly how we imagined and we are so grateful for the most perfect day of our lives. Just Wow!
Galway Downs by Wedgewood Weddings was an absolute dream venue for our wedding. From the very first planning meeting, the team was incredibly responsive, attentive, and friendly in helping us bring our vision to life. The value they provided was unmatched - the naturally beautiful space required minimal additional decor, and the add-ons like the photo both and cold touch sparklers were very memorable. We felt like no small detail was missed thanks to Ashley, Austin, Aubree, Devin, Ireland, Kylie, Makenna, Mikayla, Austin (our DJ&MC), and DJ (our banquet coordinator). They truly feel like family by the end of it all. We are forever thankful to the entire Galway Downs team for making our wedding day so special and stress-free.
Fantastic Venue
Our wedding was just a few weeks ago and we are still riding the high. We had an absolute blast and we received so many compliments on the venue. You cannot go wrong choosing Galway. The vendors were easy to work with and if you follow the binder, planning will go smoothly.
Galway Downs by Wedgewood Wedding
Wedgewood themselves did a wonderful job. They took care of essentially everything for us. There are some things to consider when booking. They DO NOT allow you onto the grounds before 9 am on the day of your wedding. This was an issue for the bride when figuring out where to get ready with hair and makeup. We needed to get ready beginning at 8:00 AM and this was a difficult fix for us as we had planned the whole timeline being able to get ready in the beautiful bridal suite. We didn't get to utilize that space hardly at all as a consequence. With that said, the reception and ceremony spaces were gorgeous and our guests had a wonderful time. We were so happy with the rest of the planning process, minus one of their vendors. I would HIGHLY suggest this to anyone getting married. It was such an easy process! Just make sure to keep in mind your timeline well ahead of time! Seems small, but was the hardest part of our logistics was not being able to use the bridal suite as we had hoped.
