About this venue

A majestic 5 acre Farmhouse Property in northern Michigan. Located less than a quarter mile down the road from Lake Charlevoux. The spacious property includes a carriage house for luxury lodging and bridal sweets (as an additional rental). An added amenity of the property is a beautifully rustic 100 year old Barn for dining, ceremonies, live music and more. We hope you celebrate your special day with us on our special property. Basic fees apply to the Property Only, Barn and Carriage House are additional rentals. The Farmhouse itself is not for rent.

Embers & Ash was a wonderful wedding venue for our client's special day. Their communication style was prompt, friendly, and professional throughout the entire planning process. We attended a wedding at Embers & Ash, and I wish we could get married again there! The owners were super easy to work with, and help make the wedding an absolute blast. Way better price than any other venues in the area, plus they had available camping for our more outdoorsy friends, which was appreciated. Hope to attend another wedding there!

Yes, we allow up to 6 spots on property anything exceeding will require valet parking which is available at the rate of $35 for up to 24 hours. We do not offer in-and-out privileges or self-parking past the 6 spots

Yes, all our facilities are wheelchair accessible. We also have ramps at the main and side entrances, hearing-impaired fire alarm lights, and trained staff.

Yes, we charge a corkage fee of $10 per bottle for wine and liquor.

January, February, March, April, and December

Your reservation includes 4 hours from start to finish, including the time it takes our staff to set up and clean up. Any additional time will be billed at $120 per hour.

Booking fees for our facilities, and all payments made including deposits, are non-refundable. If you cancel your event within 60 days of your booked date, we’ll bill you the full amount of all estimated charges minus all transaction fees.

Here are the directions from Traverse City Airport (TVC) to the Farmhouse 1. Exit the Airport and turn left onto Parsons Road. 2. Turn left onto S Airport Road W and continue for about 1.5 miles. 3. Turn left onto US-31 N and follow it for approximately 29 miles. 4. In Elk Rapids, turn right onto Ames Street to stay on US-31 N. 5. Turn right onto M-66 N and continue for about 15 miles. 6. Turn right onto Ferry Road, and your destination will be on the left.
