About this venue

Located at the heart of the University of Utah campus, the new Alumni House is a perfect venue for your wedding. With our 5800 sq. foot ballroom and several other event spaces, we can accommodate large or small wedding dinners, luncheons, receptions and ceremonies. We want to celebrate life’s greatest moments with you and provide you space for lasting memories. Our experienced, and friendly staff is available to make your special day one to remember.

OC Tanner Ballroom

The Ballroom offers the flexibility and welcoming atmosphere you will find at the Eccles Alumni House.

The lovely ballroom invites the biggest of balls to be had, accommodating up to 300 guests.. The layout of the house itself is convivial, with living room-like spaces offering guests plush couches and chairs on which to sit and chat. Windows are plentiful in each room, so as you sit down to the reception, you can look out onto the sloping mountains as the sun dips below the horizon.

This reception room features beautiful hardwood flooring and a built-in fireplace.
