Owner and Head Wedding Planner

Born and raised in Frankfurt, Germany to a German mom and British dad, travelling between countries and speaking other languages has been in my wheelhouse from a young age. After receiving my degree in hospitality management and working in the luxury hotel world for a few years I took a leap and started my own wedding planning business in Germany in 2014 which soon expanded to the UK and then more European countries. The Virtual Wedding Designer opened it's doors after our move to Jacksonville in 2023, offering classic wedding planning packages as well as virtual planning sessions and destination weddings to Europe.

The Virtual Wedding designer is the only wedding planning company that offers a 100% virtual service, allowing weddings to be planned across long distances and different time zones. Destination weddings to Europe with a huge network of vetted European vendors and a collaboration with several travel agents also make me the go-to planner for stress-free wedding planning across the Atlantic Ocean.

Honestly, Michelle was a godsend for me and my wife. While we had done a decent amount of the planning on our own, the enormous list of to-do's with our personal and professional lives on top of starting our own business was getting unmanageable. Enter Michelle, who was able to pick up exactly where we needed and get everything organized and in one place. She's super easy to communicate with and very responsive. The day of, everything went extremely smoothly--we didn't have a single hiccup, which I definitely attribute to Michelle's work and organization of everything. I would highly recommend Michelle for anyone who needs any kind of planning help at all. She'll make sure your event goes smoothly. And she's very reasonably priced! Thank you so much Michelle!
