Thank you for stopping by and looking through my work. I approach wedding photography with two philosophies: One is to be photo-journalistic. Capturing those unexpected moments, a flirty glance, a secret kiss or a burst of laughter. These are the small details and intimate moments that tell your story. My other philosophy is to be editorial. To direct, compose, and create interesting shots. These are the pictures that will be high-impact, dramatic and creative. Although I have a photo-journalistic approach throughout the day, I understand the importance of formal family pictures. So, be assured we will get all of those as well.

    Abel did our wedding last year (3 weeks before the pandemic hit) and the whole process could not have been more professional, easy, or smooth. He walked us through his processes each step of the way, he was flexible with any hiccups along the way (we accidentally tried to set up engagement photos in the middle of the Chicago marathon route and had to find a new venue on the fly). We had phone call meetings to make sure every step was covered. On the day of our wedding he was attentive, professional, and was able to motivate everyone while photographing. During dinner, everyone knows that taking pictures at all of the tables can take forever. Able was able to keep things moving while also keeping all of the guests happy at the same time. He also has a great eye for shot set up and is quick to find the perfect shots. We had photoshoots by a train station when we were lucky enough to have a train arrive. He was able to get us in a great spot and get the photo op in an instant. Afterwards, he kept us informed on where he was in the process on getting everything processed and even during the pandemic lockdowns and he made sure to find a way to keep us in the loop and get our pictures to us in a timely manner. Again, we can not recommend Tequila Weddings or Abel any higher!!!

    Cesar's has been serving the City of Chicago for over 30 years, our website is killermargaritas.com. When we met Abel ( Tequila Weddings ) we knew it would be a great business opportunity since our signature drinks have Tequila. We've partnered with him for small intimate weddings, showers and bridal parties. It's always a pleasure to work with him. We host various vendors at both locations but by far he is the best and easiest to work with. if possible we would only partner with Tequila Weddings. His professionalism is unmatched and his enthusiasm for his clients is unparalleled!
