Hi! I am so happy that you've found my page! I am an Elopement Photographer based in San Diego, CA and Park City, UT. My speciality is helping couples plan epic elopements that represent their values, personalities and love for nature.

My couples choose me to help them feel comfortable in front of the camera and to create an authentic space for you to embark on this adventure together! I offer unlimited coaching and support for my couples and make sure to send out sneak peaks right away!

We seriously could not be happier with how our photos turned out!!! Not only did Talya capture incredible photos, she was also amazing to work with and created such a safe, fun space, which was especially important for my girlfriend who doesn't like being in front of the camera too much. She directed us very well in moments where we didn't know what to do & kept coming up with new, exciting ideas the whole time, which allowed us to feel confident in each pose and space. 10000/10 would recommend Talya!!!

If you’re considering eloping in San Diego—or anywhere, really—Talya is the person you need! She helped us plan our elopement at the San Diego County Administration Building, complete with fun activities for a sunny January day by the water and through Balboa Park. She created an itinerary that truly felt like us and was such a joy to work with—so communicative, organized, and fun every step of the way. Talya even visited our locations beforehand to ensure everything was perfect. She made us feel like absolute models with her posing guidance, while also ensuring we had those special moments to ourselves. The photos turned out incredible! Her creativity, attention to detail, and ability to capture the moment were flawless, no matter the weather or lighting. Her use of digital and film feels like the perfect combination for documenting our elopement to become a future family keepsake. She also sent sneak peeks by the next morning, which was the best way to wake up! We can’t recommend Talya Herring enough to anyone looking for an elopement photographer who feels like a friend on your big day.

Talya Herring is a dream to work with! She has a talent for finding the perfect angles and lighting, and I was blown away by how easy she made everything feel. Talya's editing skills are also amazing and she goes above and beyond to make sure the final photos match your vision. She spends so much time fine-tuning every detail to ensure they're exactly how you want them. I was amazed at how much thought and care she put into each image- absolutely prefect.
