Dove and Fox is a photography company specializing in weddings and portraiture. Dove & Fox is... Ciara and Josh, husband and wife photography team. Our photographic talent has been honed from years in creating and photographing both in Los Angeles and New York City. We've now relocated to North Carolina to best support the growth of our beautiful little boy with autism. We love it here! Our visual approach is timeless with a playful, modern touch. We weave together elements of fashion, editorial and artistic photography that results in unique photo narrative for you to treasure.

Unlike many other larger photo companies that "outsource" photographers (ending up in a sometimes generic look) we as humans, as a couple, and as artists love nothing more than to sincerely connect with our clients, get to know them and feature them as uniquely and lovingly as they deserve to be. We'll chat with you, help understand how photography works and frankly, have a ball creating photos together (lots of laughter). Infact many of our "Clients" have become our dear friends.

    Building up to the wedding was great, we thought everything was in place and pictures did turn out to our liking. BUT the day of experience brought immense stress. Had contract for 3pm-11pm (8 hours), they let the bride know they'd be coming early but did not know that meant they'd be leaving 30 minutes early: which meant we had to end the dancing, fake the departure, and then the couple missed their last dance. When after ceremony pictures were being taken, they did not have their notes prepared and embarrassed bride that she didn't send it to them (which since they have admitted was on them). At 10:20, lied to bride's mom, groom's mom, and bride's dad that the contract said "HARD 10:30" we have to leave. Tis was said over and over and over again. And the truth was the contract was 11:00. Since my review on Wedding Wire, vendor has become very combative and angry using excuses like "a wedding coordinator would have handled this" even asking Wedding Wire to take it down. They have owned some mistakes but spent more time placing blame. I explained that the review is not to be done in malice, but I do want future wedding families not to have to deal with what we did. SO BEWARE OF ALL COMMUNICATIONS WITH THEM AND DOCUMENT EVERYTHING, EVEN PHONE CALLS WITH THEM!

    We feel lucky to have had Joshua photograph our wedding day, his creativity and attention to detail is amazing. The photos came out so good that we can hardly choose our favorite one. Joshua of Starke Images made us feel comfortable and most of all, FUN. We didn't want the cookie cutter, generic wedding photos. Joshua's images made our photos look like they could belong in a magazine, the images are timeless and sharp! For the price and quality, highly recommend. We look forward to booking him again in the future, very happy!
