Hi there, I’m Shanoah! I’m a Wedding Photographer based in Spokane WA! My goal is to capture how every moment felt in the most authentic and beautiful way possible. When I’m not doing my dream job (photography, obvi!) you can find me doing home improvement projects, eating my weight in sushi, snuggling my cat Teddy, and binging whatever reality TV show I’ve found on Netflix. I love chatting about all of the wedding tips and tricks I’ve learned over the years, and adore hearing wedding planning details, so if want to grab a cup of coffee (my treat!) to chat about your amazing day and how I could be a good fit, please reach out!

If we cut to the core of who I am and what I do, my primary love is for people, both when I’m holding the camera and when I’m not. I love love! My photography style is journalistic, candid, authentic, and timeless, and my edits are bold, warm, and true to life. My goal is to capture your wedding in a way that is candid, authentic, and timeless; your wedding should feel like a photoshoot! I feel that photography is one of my life callings, and I truly adore each and every couple I work with.

A Truly Exceptional Wedding Photographer

Shanoah photographed our intimate wedding at the Steam Plant in Spokane, WA, and she exceeded all expectations! I was in my final year of nursing school in Minnesota when we got engaged, so planning a wedding out of state came with challenges. Shanoah was incredibly helpful throughout the process. We had our initial consultation over Zoom, and right away, I felt confident in her approach. I wanted a photographer who captured clear, well-lit photos that felt authentic and made us feel comfortable. Shanoah was exactly that. We immediately clicked, and we decided to book her Silver Wedding Photography Experience, which included 8 hours of coverage, a second shooter for 2 hours, a 30-minute engagement session, and a No. 2 Album. Since we were in Minnesota for most of our engagement, we had engagement photos taken by a different photographer. Shanoah was so accommodating, allowing us to skip the engagement session and upgrade our album to No. 3 instead. Shanoah was always prompt and eager to collaborate. She provided her Complete Bridal Guide, a resource full of advice on everything from engagement photo outfits to wedding day timelines. It helped me tremendously, especially when planning family portraits and making sure I didn’t miss any key moments. In the weeks before the wedding, Shanoah sent two detailed questionnaires. One asked for a list of specific family groupings for photos, and while it was a lot to organize, on the wedding day, I didn’t have to worry about missing anyone. Shanoah made sure to capture every request. The second questionnaire asked important questions about our wedding details, helping her tailor her approach to fit our needs and blend seamlessly with our guests. On the wedding day, Shanoah arrived with a smile—and coffee for both the bride and groom! She communicated her plan clearly, explained what she would be doing, and helped with everything from fixing dresses to teaching my maid of honor how to arrange my veil. She gave us gentle prompts, helping us feel relaxed while capturing meaningful moments. Even when family members stepped in to direct photo lineups or adjust dresses, Shanoah remained gracious and professional. She kindly offered suggestions when necessary to keep things on track, always respectful and joyful. If we wanted a spontaneous photo, she was quick to jump in, ready to capture the moment with enthusiasm. The sneak peeks Shanoah sent us were stunning—far beyond what we had imagined! When we received the full gallery, we were blown away by the beautiful, timeless photos. We spent hours pouring over hundreds of pictures, many of which were candid shots of our guests. It was so special to see these moments, as we didn’t have much time with everyone on the day. Shanoah captured so many precious memories, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Where can I start! let's see, let's start with her amazing ability to capture our love for our engagement and wedding photos! She was absolutely a pleasure to work with and made sure she captured every detail. But honestly, the most amazing thing thing about her work was how involved she was with everything at the wedding. She made sure if I needed anything that she would do what she could to make it happen. That day she made me feel like she was an old college friend who happened to be taking my wedding pictures, and not like I was a contract. I absolutely cried when I got back my sneek peeks! Shanoah was absolutely the best photographer I have ever worked with. She took our engagement and wedding photos and we are so in love with her style! Almost every single wedding guest mentioned how much they loved her and she made my wedding day feel so blissful! She was fun, asked all the questions, and really made sure to capture what my husband and I requested. 10/10 would recommend her for your wedding day needs!
