HI THERE! I’m Kate & he’s Ryan, and we’re one heck of a team. We’re also the husband & wife duo behind Opal & Jaye, a company based on our love of being married. While Ryan bravely handles the books & the business, I’m lucky enough to live out my passion every day - documenting sweet, vibrant couples kicking off their lives together. I’m a heart-on-her-sleeve kind of gal who genuinely feels it’s incredibly important to get to know all about YOU.

By the time your wedding rolls around, I’ll know the name of your dog, your favorite TV binge, and just how to handle your wacky Aunt Wanda. I’ll cry over your vows before dancing the night away with you, camera in tow. I’ll fix your train; I’ll capture your moments. And I’ll never stop smiling.

Opal & Jaye Photography was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding. From the very first call, Kate and her team were professional, thorough, and incredibly organized, putting us at ease every step of the way. Kate's communication was always descriptive and she made us feel supported leading up to the big day. On the wedding day itself, I didn't have to worry about a single thing - Kate and her team handled everything seamlessly, allowing us to fully enjoy the celebration. Kate has a shining personality and is so approachable, we felt like she could have fit right in working at Disney World! Most importantly, she captured not just the look of our wedding, but the feeling - the joy, the love, the energy of the day. We are thrilled with the final photos and could not recommend Opal & Jaye Photography more highly.

The team from Opal and Jaye are incredible! Kate was a dream to work with for our engagement photos and on our wedding day Kelly and Veronica were just fantastic. The work they do is beautiful, they were so responsive and helped bring my ideas to life for our photos. They were so sweet throughout the process and worth every penny. We just have our sneak peeks so far and every new photos has my jaw on the floor. I HIGHLY recommend them.
