    Colin and the team at Moon Honey were a pleasure to work with. Their communication was thorough, concise, and effective, putting us at ease from our first interaction.     Nothing but positive things to say about moon honey - specifically Colin. He shot our wedding day solo and was exactly what we were looking for! The photos speak for themself (see some examples attached). We wanted something a little less traditional and Colin stepped up and executed perfectly. We did not waste a ton of time on our big day doing photo shoots, anything preplanned was quick and executed efficiently allowing us to enjoy the day! Colin is a natural and had a great eye for capturing the authenticity of us, our family and friends live emotions/reactions through many candids from getting ready to shutting down the dance floor. He was everywhere at once somehow! Our venue was a perfect fit for Colin to do his thing. He thrives in atmospheres that are less scripted and captures the natural beauty of your surroundings. If looking for black tie traditional church and alter ceremony shots, sure Colin could do that for you with his eyes closed, but if your looking for something a bit more unique with your own flavor Colin will be a perfect fit for you as he has the imagination and skills to adapt to your needs! He was easy going and fit right in amongst guests. You will not regret booking him! We highly recommend and hope to use him for smaller photo shoots in the future!

    Those are the first words that come to mind when describing Colin and his work! Colin was incredibly easy to work with. From the moment we got in contact to the final photo taken. It was a breeze, and it felt so great to know we were in such good hands. My husband is not an outgoing or super social person, but Colin captured his likeness in a way I can’t even truly describe. He opened up and we all laughed, and played and talked and laughed! Colin helped him feel comfortable enough to be his silly self, out in public with all the eyes on him while we walked around eloping! We had been planning a New Year’s Eve (Dec 2023) elopement since July 2023 and Colin was on board the minute I sent that email. The discovery call was great. I felt comfortable speaking to him about my needs right away, and the way he described his own elopement, was exactly the vibe I was going for! The plan changed a few times throughout the months. Going from just the three of us, to adding my best friend and her partner, and Colin was so flexible! His professionalism is top tier! His communication is on point! Any time I reached out to him, he would respond and put my mind at ease about whatever I was freaking out about now. He checked in with me often about how we were feeling, how things were, etc. I was never worried about anything (photography related!). I just knew he had it handled. Colin sent us previews the same night (which I thought was amazing timing!) and we were just mind blown. I’ve never looked or felt prettier or happier in a photo before. The day was captured beautifully. It was the most beautiful and fun day of my life, and I’m so grateful Colin was there to capture it for us, because our story really is told through the photos. Our love is captured in such a beautiful way, it is making me cry again thinking about it. Thank you Colin! I look forward to many more years of working together on other projects!
