I'm a photographer with twenty years of experience. I started as a photojournalist and ground my wedding photography in authentic moments. I love natural portraits that don't feel staged and craft a true narrative of the wedding day that shows it in all its beauty.

We're all about letting the couple have fun and enjoy their wedding day. We still make time for beautiful portraits, but everything is geared toward each couple's comfort. Nothing is overdone or cheesy.

    Jonathan has clearly been doing wedding photography for years. He is punctual, organized, and extremely professional. As a solo photographer, Jonathan was still able to get every shot I wanted of the ceremony and reception. He also pays great attention to detail, making sure everyone in the shot is positioned just right. He even had a small pair of scissors in his pocket to help with any flower, thread, etc. mishaps! With so many options out there, we were so happy that we decided to work with Millay and Young Photography.

    Jonathan and Elisabeth were so incredible to work with! I got married in November 2019 and Jonathan was my lead photographer - he has an incredible eye for detail. Before each picture he made sure my hair looked perfect and was even asking people to take things out of their pockets so they didn’t show in the pictures. Before my wedding I had concerns that there would not be enough lighting during the reception and I should never have worried, Jonathan made sure all photos were naturally lit and looked gorgeous. I continuously get compliments on my pictures. I searched so long to find the perfect photographer and I am so happy I found Jonathan and Elisabeth! They were such a pleasure to work with, I would suggest them to everyone!
