My goal is to photograph all my subjects with a balance of very relaxed posing and photojournalism styled photos. I want my couples to be themselves so that their own emotions, their love for one another, and who they are come through in what will be their photos.

    Michael is truly an above 5 star recommendation. I have had the pleasure of working with Michael a few times now, and he is always so kind, easy to work with, stays professional, yet feels like a good friend all at the same time. He provides phenomenal work and continually goes above and beyond for his clients. Michael has a way about capturing moments in the most precious, special and even unexpected ways. He will always be my go to photographer and my first recommendation to anyone who asks for one. Hands down.

    If you are reading this review, congratulations — you're likely about to hire one of the best photographers in the Midwest. (And, luckily for everyone else, he'll travel anywhere.) Michael is so talented and creative, and I've been fortunate to enjoy his work over the years as both a friend and a client. I've also worked alongside him in the wedding industry when I used to do wedding videography. He is professional, fun, and always up for adventure. He isn't afraid to think out of the box when it comes to photos. Your wedding photos certainly won't look just like everyone else's. If you're planning a unique wedding that perfectly captures who you are, Michael is your guy. He finds the best things about each couple and captures them perfectly. Have a crazy idea? He'll do it. Want to elope in Antarctica? He's already booked his ticket, probably. (One time he shot a wedding in Fargo, drove back to Sioux Falls through the night, hopped on a plane the next morning, and I picked him up in Denver a few hours later to shoot another wedding. He doesn't give an 'eff about nothin' — he'll do it.) (If you're planning a boring, stereotypical wedding, he'll do an amazing job of that, too. Just know that this guy is up for adventure.) On your wedding day, you may notice his calm and confident demeanor. He makes each couple feel comfortable by giving just enough direction for photos, while still letting the moments play out naturally. You will feel so comfortable with him, and he'll make sure the schedule of your day runs smoothly. So, hire the guy. You won't regret it for a second. Then, when you see how fantastic your photos turn out, print 'em out and slap 'em on your walls forever. Then, be sure to send Michael a bottle of fine scotch for a job well done.
