Hi! I'm so glad you're here. I'm a Chicago-based wedding photographer here to help you tell your love story. Through humor, support and documentary storytelling I'm there to capture your day in an authentic way that reflects who you both are, how you love, and how your community shows up for you. Stylistically, I consider myself a docu-storyteller with a flair for art-forward portraits. With a background in film and digital, I like to incorporate the classic, the dramatic and the real.

I know how strange it can sometimes feel to have your photo taken (haaaaHA trust me), but I'm here to have fun with y'all and be a sounding board for all the thoughts and feelings that come to the surface. With a background in comedy, one of my superpowers is structuring the day in a way that feels effortless and fun. These are the images you'll hold onto forever, they should feel like *you* and the photography should be one of the (easy) highlights of your day. Let's celebrate!

The basic wedding package is a great start for couples looking for 6 hours of coverage! From the very start, you'll be assisted with custom wedding day and schedule assistance. There's no limit on images taken or delivered- your gallery reflects all the best images curated together to tell your story.

Description

Mini wedding packages cater to couples who are looking for a more intimate and condensed version of a classic wedding day. These are usually 40 people max, 3-4 hours. These can have the more "traditional" outline of wedding days but are super intimate and lovely. Great for backyards, courtyards, rooftops, etc etc. Outline and structure can be flexible and leaves plenty of room for adventure!

    We LOVED working with Layne. She is such a positive energy and you can tell that she is so passionate about capturing the vibe and emotions of your wedding. When we look back at our photos we can see how it felt on that day. We were also unfortunate enough to experience a Covid wedding cancellation 2 months before our wedding was supposed to take place. Layne was very supportive and was willing to work with us to photograph our later elopement instead. Very communicative and a pleasure all around! We always recommend her when our friends are getting married as well.
