Oh hey! I’m Katie, down-to-earth and down to explore! I'm a Colorado wedding & elopement photographer, adventurer, and cat mom. Let me promise you two things. First: we are going to have a blast! Plenty of people think they’re really awkward, especially for photos. Never fear! I use super fun prompts, simple poses, dumb jokes, and a journalistic approach to capture candid moments and your authentic selves. The second promise that I will do whatever I can to make your life simpler during this process. Whether that is timeline planning, or helping plan your dream elopement. I am always going to be in your corner!

I truly pride myself on getting ANYBODY to feel comfortable in front of the camera; I love connecting with people and letting that connection show through your photos. I also edit in a bright, true-to life style that is timeless. You aren't going to look at your photos in 30 years and think: "That was so 2021".

Choosing Katie was by far one of the best decisions my husband and I made for our wedding day!!! We are both professional photographers and videographers so this was a tough decision for us. But the second we found Katie, we knew we needed to hire her. Not only are her pictures clean, crisp, beautifully presented and creative, they are also timeless. We wanted our personalities to shine and she captured our day beyond perfectly. I stare at our photos in awe regularly. Beyond her incredible talent, Katie is truly the most awesome person you will meet. We’ve become good friends who get dinner and play in softball leagues together!!! Katie was a rockstar during our elopement in RMNP! Everything was comfortable and natural. it felt like we had been friends with her forever. She is so creative and was very open to any feedback we had about the plan for the day of. I would highly recommend using her for your special day. Our album is so special to us, and we wouldn't have it without her!

Katie was absolutely amazing. She was helpful in the process before the wedding and answered all of our questions. She had so many insights about elopements in Colorado! We LOVE our photos! Katie has a beautiful way of capturing scenery and making sure you're posing right. I love her attitude and the way she cares about the environment as well. I wanted someone who was low waste - low impact, and she was the perfect fit! Katie's fun and easy-going way about her made us feel completely comfortable on the day of our wedding. No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible! I do network with some amazing videographers that I would be happy to work with and recommend.

I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.

Thankfully I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my many photographer friends in my network, or second shooters. There will be no additional cost to you!

Typically, couples book me about 13 months before their wedding date but I have had couples book as far as 2 years out! I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.

I am more than comfortable shooting an entire wedding day by myself. That said, bigger weddings would definitely benefit from a second shooter! If you'd like to add a second shooter to your package, I have a network of talented photographers I work with.

I deliver the absolute best of the best from your wedding day, and all that I deliver will be edited to match my style! This includes color correction, lighting, contrast, etc. as well as minor blemish correcting. I try to keep my editing as natural as possible!

For elopements, my turn-around time is shorter than a wedding. Generally for elopements, expect your photos back in 3-4 weeks. Full wedding days can be expected back in 4-8 weeks depending on the season. I do offer an upgrade to your package to expedite your turn-around time to 2 weeks!

You can expect about 50 to 100 images per hour of coverage! But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on various factors, including the number of guests, traditions you have planned, timeline, etc.
