Oh hey! I’m Katie, down-to-earth and down to explore! I'm a Colorado wedding & elopement photographer, adventurer, and cat mom. Let me promise you two things. First: we are going to have a blast! Plenty of people think they’re really awkward, especially for photos. Never fear! I use super fun prompts, simple poses, dumb jokes, and a journalistic approach to capture candid moments and your authentic selves. The second promise that I will do whatever I can to make your life simpler during this process. Whether that is timeline planning, or helping plan your dream elopement. I am always going to be in your corner!

I truly pride myself on getting ANYBODY to feel comfortable in front of the camera; I love connecting with people and letting that connection show through your photos. I also edit in a bright, true-to life style that is timeless. You aren't going to look at your photos in 30 years and think: "That was so 2025".

Katie is an exceptional photographer & person. She made everything so easy, from initially meeting with us to talk about it wedding, booking, and her wealth of experience in advising us on what to wear, how to pose, how to feel comfortable in front of the camera, and how to enjoy ourselves throughout the process. Her guides for engagement shoots and the wedding day itself were invaluable, and her professionalism and process in hitting every major point of the occasion is done with such finesse. Katie is hilarious, affable, kind, and incredibly skilled at what she does. She made us feel completely taken care of from booking through the wedding day, and after. Hiring Katie was the best decision we made for our September 2024 wedding! Katie is very personable, organized, and professional. Katie's photography skills are incredibly broad from the traditional wedding day portraits to stunning landscapes. We decided to forego an engagement session and instead do an "adventure session" after our wedding... 10/10 would recommend an adventure session! Of note, since we chose not to do an engagement session, the first time we were in front of the camera with Katie was on our wedding day and she made us feel at ease right away. We are extremely happy with our photos and our overall experience of working with Katie, I would recommend her to any family member or friend. Book her now before it's too late, you will not regret it!

We absolutely loved working with Katie! She made us feel so comfortable, and made the process feel super natural and fun. She kept us on track (and wrangled, very nicely, quite a few friends and family members!), but without feeling rushed, and had a fabulous eye for each shot. Katie was able to perfectly capture what it felt like on the day, and made what was already a beautiful backdrop even more stunning. We would highly recommend working with her!

Choosing Katie was by far one of the best decisions my husband and I made for our wedding day!!! We are both professional photographers and videographers so this was a tough decision for us. But the second we found Katie, we knew we needed to hire her. Not only are her pictures clean, crisp, beautifully presented and creative, they are also timeless. We wanted our personalities to shine and she captured our day beyond perfectly. I stare at our photos in awe regularly. Beyond her incredible talent, Katie is truly the most awesome person you will meet. We’ve become good friends who get dinner and play in softball leagues together!!! Thankfully I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my many photographer friends in my network, or second shooters. There will be no additional cost to you!

Typically, couples book me about 8-12 months before their wedding date but I have had couples book as far as 2 years out! I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.

I am more than comfortable shooting an entire wedding day by myself. That said, bigger weddings would definitely benefit from a second shooter! If you'd like to add a second shooter to your package, I have a network of talented photographers I work with.

I deliver the absolute best of the best from your wedding day, and all that I deliver will be edited to match my style! This includes color correction, lighting, contrast, etc. as well as minor blemish correcting. I try to keep my editing as natural as possible!

For elopements, my turn-around time is shorter than a wedding. Generally for elopements, expect your photos back in 4-6 weeks. Full wedding days can be expected back in 6-10 weeks depending on the season.

You can expect about 50 to 100 images per hour of coverage! But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on various factors, including the number of guests, traditions you have planned, timeline, etc.
