Jess is incredible. If you like her documentary style there is no reason not to hire her. From our first glance at her portfolio, we loved her magazine profile style shooting, our only fear being that because her sample shots were so good that when it came time for the wedding our photos wouldn't meet the bar. Jess shot our engagement & wedding photos and provided hundreds of high quality images that capture us as a couple and our guests personalities. She took the time to not only get to know what we hoped for but also who we were so she could really capture that. I didn't want to spend my wedding day posing for photos, but spending it with friends and family, and Jess understood that deeply. She was willing to ask for a shot when it made sense, but also melded into the wedding and took great shots capturing beautiful moments. Our wedding was split across three venues ranging from outdoor/harsh light, to cramped indoor room, and a massive banquet hall in each she did an excellent job and got images that truly feel like they could be printed in a glossy magazine. I feel so privileged to have had her be part of our wedding, in the end I find myself with similar sentiments to a reference I called, when asked how Jess ranked amongst their vendors, she said, "Can I rank her amongst my guests too? Because I think she was the best person at the entire wedding!"
