We are Indy wedding photographers and capture beautiful weddings world-wide. We are Van Elk & Co owners, Jenn & Steven Van Elk. We're so glad we get to work with so many amazing couples and other creatives to create beauty, uniqueness, and quality. Our goal is to hand over beautiful images that you will cherish for years to come. Our images communicate the visual story of your wedding day. Our couples have their own unique personalities which we let shine through our images. Jenn is our editing mastermind. Steven along with two of our other talent photographers make up the rest of our team.

We are husband and wife team, Jenn & Steve Van Elk. We understand that photography is one of the most important decisions you'll make for the day of your wedding. It was for us. Not only do we want to produce beautiful images for you to share and enjoy for decades, we want to make working with us a wonderful experience. All our collections include both of us, so that not only will you get two different view points but two different creative photographers.

This group.. is just.. AWESOME! I wanted candid, organically aesthetic shots and that's exactly what they delivered. Working with Jenn on the backend was great from start to finish - she was kind, thoughtful, and professional in every interaction. Steve's dynamic was so chill and flexible that it was like we knew him for years, but also stays on task since he knows he has a job to get done - and he does it well. Hannah was incredibly sweet, helpful, and just as exacting in knowing what shots she wanted to get as Steve. It was a memorable experience working with them and would do so again in a heart beat!

Communication with Jennifer Van Elk Photography was all through email, but they were quick to respond. Everyone loved our photos from the wedding - the 8 hours of service they provided gave them plenty of time to capture everything without feeling rushed. We received over 300 photos back in less than 10 days, which was impressive. We worked with Hannah, who was so great - she was calm, collected, and made everyone feel at ease on our special day.

Van Elk & Co was wonderful to work with! Jenn was amazing with communication and helped us make the perfect photo timeline that fit all our needs (which was quite difficult may I add, seeing as how we didn’t have a first look) :) Hannah was our lead photographer and wow am I grateful for her. She got to know us so well and seemed to know exactly what we were looking for. We had a blast shooting our engagement photos, as well as enjoyed her positive vibes all throughout our wedding day. She has a wonderful personality and kind heart that always kept us excited for the photos. Even in my most stressful moments, I would just look at Hannah and she always had a smile on her face which was so comforting. She and Steven captured the most beautiful photos I could have imagined. Steven was so thoughtful, organized, and thorough with our photo list and made sure everything was accomplished. Our gallery was posted so fast and had so many more photos than I thought which made us so happy to re-live that special day. Everything from smiles, tears, laughter, and even the smallest to the biggest details were caught in the most beautiful photographs. They were so versatile in their photography giving us dark and moody (our favorite) but also many different styles for a gorgeous compilation. I highly recommend this team to everyone and couldn't imagine anyone better to capture our favorite moments.
