I'm Chel! I specialize in destination micro-weddings, world wide. I am based in Michigan. Check out my full website to learn more about me and how I can show up for you on the most important day of your life.

I am a very genuine and empathetic. I am not exaggerating when I say I care a lot. I invest a lot of time into getting to know my couples + what makes their relationship unique and beautiful. This allows me to photograph their day in a way that really represents their love in the best ways. I am really big on supporting my couples from start to finish. AKA, I am here to help with any and all things wedding related! But I also care about how my couples are doing, and love getting updates. Many of my couples still keep in touch to this day. And that makes my heart so happy!

    Cheleana was absolutely amazing to work with, from communication prior to the wedding to navigating the changing environment of a large-scale wedding. we were given more than a few changes to the timeline, and she kept the flow going while managing a second shooter along with sharing the moment with a videographer. Finding a photographer that enjoys what they do while they are working and able to keep a smile all while making the customer and other vendors feel like a team.!

    We hired Cheleana to be our wedding photographer in 2021. I fell in love with her authentic in the moment photos and the softness in her approach to editing each image. When we met for the first time you can tell she loves what she does and her personality truly shines!     Cheleana has a piece of my heart, actually. She is so much fun to work with. We booked her for our wedding and she was so warm and welcoming from the very beginning, by the time we’d finally met up for our engagement shoot I’d felt like I’d known her forever. She had us laughing and comfortable the entire time, took the time to really get to know us, handcrafted a playlist based on our music tastes, and just genuinely put her whole heart into it. She was there for us every step of the way, too. She helped us find our DJ, checked in often, and offered to help with anything she could. I never once felt bad for asking her for help - she feels just like a friend to me. On our wedding day, she helped keep everything moving slowly, was always down to try any creative ideas we had for photos, and hyped us up all. Day. Long. Our photos came out so beautifully- so dreamy and whimsical, and perfectly captured our energy. They are truly, everything and more. Working with Cheleana far exceeded our expectations. She is an absolute treasure and I adore her. Will absolutely be booking her for any photography needs I have in the future.
