Hi friends! I'm Chel, a 30 year old mama + wife to the sweetest boys. Loved ones would describe me as warm, bubbly, quirky, and down to earth. I started my photography journey at the end of 2014, and am entirely self-taught. I was born and raised in Traverse City, but moved down to Clio, Michigan 2 years ago! However, I continue to serve all of Michigan, TN, as well as locations around the US and worldwide. I am a coffee obsessive (think Lorelai from Gilmore Girls) with a joy for nature + traveling. I love reading, all genres of music (sucker for Luke Combs, Elvis, Benson Boone), true crime, cringe reality TV + psychological thrillers!
I am a very genuine and empathetic. I am not exaggerating when I say I care a lot. I invest a lot of time into getting to know my couples + what makes their relationship unique and beautiful. This allows me to photograph their day in a way that really represents their love in the best ways. I am really big on supporting my couples from start to finish. AKA, I am here to help with any and all things wedding related! But I also care about how my couples are doing, and love getting updates. Many of my couples still keep in touch to this day. And that makes my heart so happy!

THE BEST!
Cheleana was the perfect choice for our engagement shoot photos. From our first interaction, she was so personable, friendly, and warm - we felt like we were working with old friends. Her communication throughout the planning process was fantastic, and she was incredibly present and quick capturing all the special moments seamlessly and she guided us. The quality of her work is simply dreamy and whimsical - we are in love with our photos! Cheleana was also incredibly kind, attentive, and professional throughout the entire experience. We are so grateful to have found them and would highly recommend them to any couple looking for the perfect wedding photographers. We have also hired her for multiple family photo sessions, and she does so great with kids!
BEST PHOTOGRAPHER
Chel was the PERFECT photographer to capture our wedding day! She was attentive, thorough, and FUN! Both my husband and I can be pretty camera shy, but Cheleana made us feel confident and comfortable. She set a clear calendar for us to follow and made every interaction feel special. She takes the time to get to know you and you know that you are important to her. She took all of our requests and gave us literally the perfect photos for our special day. I cannot recommend her enough!!!
Second shooters dream
Cheleana is a second shooters DREAM to work with. She truly cares about each and every one of her couples and gets to know them on such a personal level. She is always very clear with what she needs help with being captured and is so efficient but still takes the to capture everything. Her knowledge base is incredible and She is so much fun!

I had a blast working with Cheleana for a recent wedding. As a videographer, it's incredible to work with a photographer who incorporates a lot of movement in their style. Cheleana was easygoing and relaxed the whole day and it made the whole day a breeze. Highly highly recommend!
