Boettcher Films was made in an attempt to slow down and simplify. Using only film formats, my husband and I have been documenting weddings on Super8 and 35mm since 2020. We recently have created photo + video packages for those who crave untraditional film coverage of their wedding day. My family and I are nestled in a small farming community west of Houston, Texas. Our desire for slow intentional living has fostered not only our wedding inspiration, but also how we do life. You will find these themes woven throughout our work.

We offer one place where you can secure editorial film coverage of your day with photo AND video packages. These packages combine film, digital, and super8 mediums to truly capture the experience of your day.     When searching for a photo/videographer we wanted someone who shoots film, has a laid back documentary style, and could make us feel comfortable in front of the camera. Boettcher films checked all of these boxes and then exceeded expectations! From our first communication I sensed Gracie’s warmth and passion for what she does. We had an engagement shoot before our big day, my husband and I were super nervous about being photographed, but Gracie and Jonathan made it feel like we were just hanging out and getting to know each other. The results speak for themselves, it really captured our love in a way I didn’t know was possible. I will cherish those photos forever! Wedding day was just the same, my friends and family all raved about how awesome they are. We haven’t seen wedding photos yet but we just know they’ll be beautiful!
