Do you work with other photographers?

Accepted Answer

Yes, yours or ours. If you book 4 or more hours shooting time, if you request it, I’ll bring one assistant photographer, at no extra charge! ;)

Question 2

How far in advance should we book you for our wedding?

Accepted Answer

Typically, about 2-6 months before their wedding date, but some are last-minute too! Good news, if you have your marriage license in-hand, we can do it within hours. But we strongly encourage you to book us AS SOON AS POSSIBLE to get your most preferred date and time slot!

Do you also offer video services?

Accepted Answer

No, but we recommend videographers we know do great work. We prefer focusing on still photography only, so you get the best wedding pictures possible.

Question 4

How long will it take to see our pictures?

Accepted Answer

You get finished images on flashdrive in street mail in about 2-8 weeks after your wedding, depending on the season (winter is faster, autumn is slowest) and which package you choose. Typically, you’ll be able to preview your photos on email or online within weeks.

Question 5

How many pictures will we get?

Accepted Answer

At least 100 images for first hour of photographing, 80/hour for second and further hours, etc. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors. We ALWAYS go over the minimum promised you!

Do you have insurance?

Accepted Answer

I do! and we have state licenses too. Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.

Question 7

What’s your back-up plan if you can’t photograph our wedding as planned?

Accepted Answer

In the unlikely event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding (severe illness, car accident, hurricane, etc), we are on the phone with you (advice in hand if wanted) for your next plans. Then if need be, I recruit one of my trusted and talented colleagues to be there, PLUS I will be doing the final editing on those photos too... you still get Margo magic!

What colors are best for me and my party to wear? Got wind and hair advice?

What if it rains or poor weather?

Will you edit all our pictures?

Accepted Answer

Definitely. All final images delivered to you (unlimited for life!) get edits for color saturation, over- or under-exposure, and sharpness, to ensure they look beautiful. I do that PLUS Enhancements/retouching services like strangers and beach trash removal, bruise & blemish removal, teeth whitening, black-n-whites, ARTWORK, and much more! As Officiants, which faith do you serve?

All faiths AND non-religious couples. We are non-denominational Pastors of our multi-faith church without judgment. Since we offer custom vows, Margo is a former English professor and author, so she helps co-create the perfect wording for YOUR wedding. (which help her get great timing in your photos too!)

Can you legally officiate? And are you a 'real' clergy?

Yes and yes. We are real Pastors of our multi faith, non-denominational, national church based in North Carolina since 2004. We are air-tight legal, in-person ordained, authorized, non-denominational Clergy in all 50 states since 2004 (Margo) and 2009 (David). Non-religious couple also welcome! What songs does David play on the Wooden Flute?

Yes and yes. Very much so, and long before gay marriage was legalized nationally in the USA, we were happily officiating commitments.
