Alicia Marie Photography

Born and raised on the island of Oahu, Hawaii, I grew up always loving anything to do with art! It was by far my favorite class at any point as an adolescent. Although I was not formally introduced to photography until I was in high school, I discovered my love for film at a young age. (One day I'd love to have my own darkroom! #GOALS!) I took an unimaginable amount of photos on any camera I could get my hands on, mostly because I loved pushing the shutter release button knowing that whatever my camera was pointing at, that moment would be captured forever. It was pretty much like magic to me.

After working several years as an Esthetician at a medical spa in Honolulu, I decided to take a leap of faith and pursue my love of photography full time! It was a difficult decision for me because I loved working with my clients at the spa, but ultimately photography was what I wanted to do. I'm so happy I made that transition and here I am today!
