Absolutely! Every ceremony I create is fully personalized for each couple.

Do you do rehearsals? Is that included in your cost?

My comprehensive "Virtual Rehearsal" is included. In-person rehearsals can be arranged based on availability for an additional fee.

Question 5

We’re legally married already. Can you still do our ceremony?

Whether you're already legally married or not planning on making your marriage legal, the ceremony will be designed to present exactly what you wish to your guests.

Do you provide or require premarital counseling?

Accepted Answer

While not required, many couples invest in my three-session Premarital Conversations package before their wedding. Sessions provide a non-religious space to explore and deepen your partnership. Held in my private office in Northampton, MA, or via Zoom, you will also receive a complimentary Marriage Touchpoint session during your first year of marriage.

What length are your ceremonies?

Most wedding venues allot 30 minutes for the ceremony; most weddings will be within that time frame. Some ceremonies may be much shorter – or occasionally, longer – because of the number of elements the couple wishes to incorporate. Length is something we will discuss together, knowing I want you and everyone witnessing and participating to be fully engaged throughout your ceremony.

Do you travel for ceremonies?

I regularly officiate in Western Massachusetts, the Berkshires and Boston. I often travel to coastal venues and throughout the New England area as well as to destinations across the U.S. I am also a Registered Marriage Officiant with the City of New York and can perform wedding ceremonies in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx and Staten Island.

Do you need a microphone?

I typically use a microphone except for elopements and micro weddings. Often amplification is supplied by a DJ, band or venue. If not, I can provide my portable PA system which includes a small battery-operated speaker, a lavalier microphone for myself and a wireless handheld microphone for use by you or your ceremony participants.

What do you wear to officiate?

I will make every effort to coordinate my outfit and accessories with the color and style of your event, accommodating special requests whenever possible. I am equally comfortable indoors or outside, in weather warm or cold, rain or shine.

Question 11

Do you require a meal?

Accepted Answer

I am always grateful to be invited to your wedding reception and stay to celebrate if I am able. However, providing a meal is not necessary and most often I will only stay for the cocktail hour to greet your family and guests and congratulate the two of you.
