Hello! We are the Magic is in the Makeup! I am Liz, the Owner and Lead Stylist. I have been doing Makeup for 19 years and Styling Hair for 10 years. Helping people feel like the most beautiful versions of themselves is why I do what I do! I love beauty and am passionate about helping every Bride and Bridal Guest feel their best on their Special Day. My team members are just as experienced and have similar training, as well as passion! I attended and graduated from The Empire Academy of Makeup and worked for and was trained by MAC cosmetics, Bobbi Brown and Laura Mercier. We would love to be the ones to put the final touches on you!

What sets us apart from other Artists and Beauty Teams is our years of experience, our commitment to our clients and our custom shade mixing abilities. We also offer decorate hair pieces for Hair Styling. Lashes are included with all of our Makeup Services as well.

    Liz did my hair and makeup for my wedding in 2023! She was so sweet, from the trial to my wedding day she did everything perfect and made me feel so comfortable! I felt so beautiful on my wedding day and I’m so grateful I chose her to be the one for my hair and makeup! :)

    Liz was AMAZING!! She truly saved my wedding day! I had a makeup artist booked out 6 months before my wedding , and 3 weeks before the wedding she doubled her prices. I was left without a makeup artist 3 weeks before my wedding! My Mom found Liz on thumbtack and I messaged her! The next day, she was at my house for my trial and I booked with her! Not only was she empathetic, she also took on my large bridal party of 10 people! Liz listened to my needs, and what I wanted to look like on my wedding day, and she exceeded my expectations and made me feel so beautiful! I have recommended her to all my friends and coworkers getting married! She is honest, and listens to the brides needs! She’s amazing!!

I told her exactly how I wanted my hair and makeup done, and she brought my dream to reality. The quality of her work was 10 out of 10 - it was amazing!     The Magic is in the Makeup was an absolute pleasure to work with for my wedding day. Liz, the lead makeup artist, was prompt, informative and efficient in all of our communication leading up to the big day.
